Abstract

Electromagnetically functionalized micro/nanostructures of conducting polymers are of special interest due to their potential applications in areas such as electromagnetic interference shielding, microwave absorption, nonlinear optics, molecular electronics, and biomedicine. Nanometer ferroferric oxide has unique magnetic characteristics, and it can be availably used for magnetic memory materials, microwave absorbing materials, special coating, targeted drug delivery, multifunctional composite materials, catalysts, and biotechnology. Rare Earth organic complexs possess excellent luminescent properties owing to the antenna effect of ligands and the f-f electron transition of RE3+ions, resulting in important applications in laser materials, luminescent materials and optical data storage devices based on photoluminescence and electroluminescence.Up to now, investigation on the luminescent-electrical-magnetic bifunctional and trifunctional nanomaterials has become one of the popular subjects in the field of materials science. There are some studies on fabricating electrical-magnetic bifunctional nanomaterial, magnetic-photoluminescent bifunctional nanomaterial, and luminescence-electricity bifunctional nanocomposite. However, photoluminescent-electrical bifunctional aligned boundless and photoluminescent-electrical-magnetic trifunctional aligned boundles prepared with special morphotogies of nanostructures have not been found in the literatures. Hence, it is an important and meaningful subject of study to fabricate multifunction nanomaterials with special morphologies and to investigate their properties with special morphologies. In this thesis. PANI/PVP//Eu(BA)3phen/PVP photoluminescent-electrical bifunctional aligned nanoboundless and Fe3O4/PANI/PVP//Eu(BA)3phen/PVP, Fe3O4/PANI/PVP//Tb(BA)3phen/PVP and Fe3O4/PVP//PANI/PVP//Eu(BA)3phen/PVP photoluminescent-electrical-magnetic trifunctional aligned nanoboundles were prepared via electrospinning technology. The morphologies and properties of the final products were investigated in details by XRD, SEM, TEM, VSM, HMS and fluorescence spectrometer. The results revealed that the as-prepared nanomaterials exhibit the nanostructures of bistrand aligned nanobundles. The photoluminescent-electrical bifunctional aligned nanoboundles possess excellent luminescent properties and electrical conductivity. The photoluminescent-electrical-magnetic trifunctional aligned nanobundles have excellent electrical conductivity, luminescent properties and magnetic properties. The luminescent intensity, magnetic properties and electrical conductivity of the bistrand aligned nanobundles can be tunable by adding various amounts of rare earth complex, Fe3O4nanoparticles and polyaniline. These new findings lay the solid foundations for the further in-depth luminescence-electricity-magnetism trifunctional nanostructured materials.
