Abstract


This paper presented the basic definitions, theories and principles of regional architecture. Through the analysis of the representative foreign architects’works, summarized their design practices. On this basic, through the retrospection of contemporary Chinese architecture design and the analysis of typical works, pointed out their achievements and drawbacks. At last, it analyzed the design practices of contemporary Chinese regional architecture. Then, I hope some issues of paper could be paid attention to and provide some help to readers.
