With the reducing of mineral resources, and the increasing of the demand formineral resources, the marine mineral development technology is more and moreattention. In the sea mining system, the solid-liquid two phase flow hydraulicconveying system becomes sea mining system development’s key, motor pump is thecore equipment. After many years of research, China designed independently themining system motor pump, and tested the pump on the water and solid-liquid twophase flow’s performances. Now urgent need for the theory research the coarseparticle solid-liquid two phase flow mechanism, and need for pumps numericalsimulation for performance prediction and other basic research, provides thetheoretical foundation for pump’s optimization design.Based on the national natural science fund project "Marine mineral resourcesmining equipment develop key technology research" as the background, with themining motor pump as the main research object, this thesis research the basic designparameters of the mining motor pump,and lists the composition of the particle size inthe sea mining system; according to the deep sea mining’s actual situation, proposesthe very suitable for situation the coarse particle-homogeneous slurry two phase flowmodel, and puts forward the slurry division dividing line size method; combine withthe coarse particle solid-liquid two phase flow theory, analysis the mechanism of theparticles in the flow field; based on the numerical simulation theory, deduces thecoarse particle motion equation and multiphase flow turbulence control equation;numerical simulates the two stages motor pump and six stages pump’s water conditionand solid-liquid in the internal flow field, analysis the flow parameters distribution;and compared with the theory, analysis the simulation result, gets motor pump’s flowperformance, draws performance curve, compared with the experimental results toverify numerical simulation for the mining motor pump in the solid-liquid two phaseflow analysis.Through this thesis’s research concludes that the innovation of the coarseparticle-homogeneous medium two phase flow model can better reflect the actual flowfield in the mining situation, and the use this model for calculation the result is morecredible, this model can provide reference and basis for further optimization ofmining motor pumps. This thesis studies the content should be the country’s marine resources development equipment theoretical basis and key technology researchimportant constituent, at the same time, the result of this thesis can also be for ourcountry land mine mining mineral hydraulic pipeline lift pump research anddevelopment design provides the theoretical foundation, and has important scientificsignificance and application value.
