Pile fabric surface is full of fluff, while having rich patterns, different styles, soft andcomfortable touch feeling, popular with different ages, so its demand is growing. Fabrictexture characteristics with different knitted production process are different, so theappearance realistic simulation of pile knitted fabric has certain difficulty with traditionalfabric simulation methods. Texture synthesis method has a big advantage in realisticsimulation, so the research based on texture synthesis realistic simulation of pile knitted fabricis a very meaningful issue.Firstly, the texture features of pile knitted fabric have been studied in detail. This partfirst from the view of the concept, characteristics, classification of texture to understand therelated knowledge and theory of texture, and then the formation process of pile knitted fabrictexture are studied combined with the production process from the aspects of material, knitting and finishing, finally the texture characteristics of pile knitted fabric arecomprehensive described.Secondly, the realistic simulation algorithm of pile knitted fabric based on texturesynthesis is in-depth study. This part studies the basic theory of texture synthesis, and theprinciple and characteristic of the existing algorithm, then mathematically describes thesimulation issues about ordinary pile knitted fabric, printing pile knitted fabric and jacquardpile knitted fabric, finally pile knitted fabric texture synthesis algorithm based on texturegrowth, transport, filling principle are proposed, and the corresponding algorithmimplementation steps are discussed.Thirdly, the texture library of pile knitted fabric texture library is established in order toachieve the simulation of different pile knitted fabric.The texture image acquisition, processing, naming of pile knitted fabric are introduced in detail, then pile knitted fabrictexture library based on SQL Server relational database are established.Finally, the realistic simulation process of pile knitted fabric is put forward combinedwith CAD technology design, and eventually the realistic simulation of pile knitted fabrics, are realized.This topic research for the application of texture synthesis technology in the textile field, especially realistic fabric simulation, provides the reference, and has certain actual applicationvalue.
