Abstract


Through literature data and questionnaire method , the writer surveyed extra-curricular sports activities in vocational colleges of Henan province,especially the habit and selection in the extra-curricular sports activities , the hardware environment, the organization form and other aspects of that in higher vocational colleges,the writer made large sample questionnaire,and then accurately analysised extra-curricular sports activities in higher vocational colleges in Henan province,which is of practical significance for the improvment of physical heath, the teaching quality and teaching efficiency of vocational education, and serving the development of local economy development. The rearch conclusion and countermeasures are as follows:Conclusions:(1)Students are clearly cognitive in extra-curricular sports activities,but not yet do unifying. Most of the students said they love sports, but their clearly cognitive sense still hasn’t transfer clearly and positively into body action.(2)Extra-curricular sports activities are still with drab form and outdated contents. Through the survey we found in higher vocational colleges of Henan province, there are less selections of extra-curricular sports activities which is mainly concentrated in the traditional ball games and simple exercise classes, such as running, walking and other exercises. And the form of organization is still based on morning exercises and calisthenics and supplemented with simple sports competition,sports clubs, etc.(3)The students take part in extra-curricular sports activities mainly with the school sports facilities, but the satisfaction to the facilities of their schools is not high. The investigation showed that 76.3%students choose school sports venues of their school for extra-curricular sports activities place, then 53.6%students use school open spaces as extra-curricular activities space, and 46.8% selects the stadiums of other colleges while 33.4% choose fitness club. The satisfaction that higher vocational college’students to their sports venues is approximately 50%, and more than 48 % are not satisfied and not very satisfied.(4)The physical teachers also recognize the importance of extra-curricular sports activities, but their performance still needs improvement. The sports leaders of Henan higher vocational colleges think extra-curricular sports activities very important and more important accounted for more than 98%, but the setup of sports organization, sports activities appropriations, and sports extra-curricular activities regulations haven’t implement clearly, which has made the school leader in ideological understanding and implementing disjuncture. Although physical teachers in higher vocational colleges admitted in extra-curricular sports activities play an important role in practice, but performed more negative.Relevant countermeasures: It is necessary to strengthen the leadership and organization,establish the mechanisms of leadership, operation, evaluation and monitoring in extra-curricular sports activities of that in higher vocational colleges of Henan province; to enrich extra-curricular sports activities in content,innovation activities organization form; To strengthen extra-curricular sports activities,to guide students to campus propaganda the extra-curricular sports activities behavior; to encourage students to create extra-curricular sports activities organization spontaneously,and physical teachers should give proper guidance; to adjust measures to local conditions,and to arrange overall school campus sporting land resources so as to increase sports funds and improve sports facilities.
