Abstract


In the fields of defense-related science and technology such as explosions, burning,armor, the movement state of bullet outside trajectory, the high-speed photography techniquehas been applied widely. Especially in the research process of weapon, it has become animportant means to observe the bullets flying attitude. Target range testing often happens inthe target channel. However, because the light of the target channel is very dark and unable tomeet the requirements of the high-speed camera, during the high-speed photography,high-brightness flash light is often used as an auxiliary light source to obtain a clear imageand finish shooting. So studying the high-speed photography sync flash light has importantsignificance and high practical value for the test in the target channel.The main contents are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of the research status of high-speed photography light source,this thesis designs a synchronous flashing light source based on LED array, which can quicklyemit a transitory high-brightness light. And the MATLAB simulation experiment showsillumination can reach80000Lux at1m, as well as flash time can be controlled.(2) The design of high-speed camera sync flash light source includes the control host andLED flashing surface light source. LED array consists of900high-brightness and high-powerLEDs. LED is a serial/parallel mixed connection mode, which forms30×30squares surfacelight source. The drive circuit and mechanical construction of the light source is designedmainly. The light source has three modes: steadiness, automatic flash, timing flash. Any modecan be selected if needed.(3) When the flash light source is used in the high-speed camera, a lot of comparative testshave been made. Through the static test and the dynamic test, the performance of light isvalidated. The experimental results are satisfactory. In a static test, the tape pictures of2000frame/s under natural conditions can not be seen, and after using the light in the4000frame/s a very clear picture can be obtained. In the dynamic tests, the movement of small steelcolumns is shot. This light can make the high speed camera shooting clear images in the5000frame/s. It also makes the flight attitude of the steel column be seen clearly.The experiments prove that the array can increase the exposure amount of high-speed cameras in insufficient illumination. The high-speed camera can get a clear image at higherframe rate and can be effectively applied to the shot of the trajectory experiment.Compared with previous high-speed photography light source, this technology has highbrightness, long life, low power consumption, and more environmental protection, andenergy-saving.
