Abstract


Spectrograph is an important instrument that is wildly used in modern optical instrument,thus it plays a significant role in universe discovery, industry and health care and also achievesthe title of “the eye of the scientific research and production”. From this, we can see that thestudy and use of the spectrometer is particularly important.The traditional instrument is bulky and unsuitable for field application, so respectivecompanies are conducting researches on miniature instrument. This article,on the basis of thepeer’s research, mainly talks about the study of the modular spectrometer, including the choiceof modular optical sources, the design of the modular dispersive optical system, the design ofmodular CCD drive circuit and the development of the upper computer software procedure.In order to realize the modular instrument, the article has proposed the following solutions:①Optical source modulation. Traditional spectrograph volume of the optical source is toobig, and it needs individual driving power and heat radiator. This project chooses a mini type ofintegrated optical fiber light source as the light source equipment for the design.②Modular design of Dispersion Systemadopts the Plane Holographic Grating DispersionSystem, and uses CCD as the receiving part for spectrum.③After knowing more about different receiver spectrum devices, choose the ToshibaCompany’s TCD1201D as the detection of components of the instrument, and MSP43OF149asthe SCM for the CCD’s driving power. The module realizes the drive to different CCD.④Use LabVIEW software to design the upper computer, and use the concise interface tocontrol the spectrometer’s acquisition function and data transmission, mainly including datacalculation, wavelength calibration, plot the waveform, etc.Based on the above studies, this project has designed and accomplished a volume of30cm*20cm*12cm, in the wavelength range of380-780nm, the accuracy is within2%of the portablevisible spectrometer, and completed the corresponding LabVIEW software operating system.The basic experimental apparatus has been tested to achieve the design requirements.
