Abstract


The rapid development of microelectronics and micro system, wireless communication, and signal processing gestates wireless sensor networks called WSN. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a self-organization network system, which is composed of many micro-sensor nodes. These nodes communicate with each other via wireless communication mode. Today the Internet of Things (IOT) is attracting more and more attention. WSN is playing more and more important role in IOT and is called the“nerve ending”of IOT by us. WSN is applied in military, environment protection, security and other fields widely now. Because WSN is often deployed in harsh environment, unmanned areas or enemy zone, its security becomes critical. Creating a safe environment is very important for WSN to move toward the practical use.The key management scheme for WSN based on symmetric key cryptography contains the following deficiencies: the WSN is not enough security; there is no authentication mechanism among nodes. In this paper, we introduce elliptic curve cryptosystem (ECC) firstly, and then make an analysis of the principle of TinyOS. We use DECA algorithm to cluster our WSN. To balance the load of cluster head node, we optimized DECA algorithm. To save the energy of WSN, we optimize point multiplication on ECC and reduce the calculation time effectively. We proposed a key management scheme for WSN based on ECC and clustering. At last, we make simulation with TinyOS. The simulation shows that proposed scheme is more security including forth security and back security, stronger Anti-DDos capacity and supports dynamic structure of WSN comparing other traditional schemes. Furthermore, the computational complexity and energy cost of our proposed scheme are feasible.The related work in this paper includes two parts mostly. The first one is optimizing key operations for Elliptic Curve to improve calculation speed. And then the optimized Elliptic Curve is applied on WSN. We proposed an efficient key management for WSN based on ECC called CECCKM. In addition, we studied TinyECC development library to simulate our scheme.
