Abstract


The safety control equipment is an important equipment in the safety controlsystem, which can’t work normally for the wrong signal produced by relay when thevibration response is too large. In this paper, the vibration environment of a key safetycontrol equipment is studied using finite element method and ground test. The mainwork and achievements are summarized as follows:Firstly, a safety control equipment is designed, including a box body, acombination equipment of control equipment, a relay, and a back-panel. In order toobtain a lower vibration response of the relay, some optimized structures are alsodesigned.Secondly, a finite element model of the safety control equipment is established,and then static analysis is executed. Based on the result of displacement and stress, anoptimized selection is done.Thirdly, mode analysis and frequency response analysis are respectively executed,and normal frequencies and frequency response functions are obtained. Then based onrandom analysis, a vibration control structure is designed form the aspects of strength,frequency and damping. The results indicated that the vibration structure designed inthis paper can satisfy the design requirement.In the end, a ground random vibration test is executed, and the mechanicalcharacteristic of safety control equipment is obtained. In the same time, finite elementanalysis results are verified by the test data.In conclusion, a safety control equipment is designed, analyzed, and tested, andthen the mechanical characteristic is obtained. The work in this paper is helpful inpractice.
