Abstract


Time prospective memory is forward-looking in various types of memory, which is everywhere in our daily lives. At present, domestic and foreign pupils time-based prospective memory is relatively small, while primary school students are at a critical period of rapid development of cognitive ability, therefore, the primary purpose of this study is to explore the pupils time-based prospective memory state of and trends . In addition, research has been based on the time of prospective memory never explore over pupils time-based prospective memory age effect, therefore, the second purpose of this study was to explore the pupils time-based prospective memory age effect. In this study, laboratory experiments on 300 2-6 graders conducted a comprehensive inspection system, and obtained the following results. Study 1 results showed that, pupils time-based prospective memory performance and time to monitor the rate of the presence of significant grade differences, high-grade time-based prospective memory level significantly higher than the low-grade; based on the time prospective memory to complete the case distribution there are also significant grade differences individuals backtracking component failure is mainly concentrated in the lower grades, the forward-looking component of the losers are mainly concentrated in the middle grades, the successful completion of individual prospective memory is mainly concentrated in the higher grades. Study II results show that the distance estimated the presence of significant grade differences, high grade elementary school student from the estimated capacity was significantly better than the lower grades; distance is estimated to have an important impact on time-based prospective memory performance and time monitoring rate from the estimated high ability pupils time-based prospective memory scores and time monitoring rates significantly higher than the low estimate for the distance ability group, estimated time-distance and time-based prospective memory performance and time monitoring rate showed a significant positive correlation, Time Estimation of time-based prospective memory performance and time monitoring rate has significantly positive prediction. , Study results show that pupils working memory showed significant effects of age, high grade working memory span, suppression and update functions, coordination and conversion functions performed better than the low grade students; Working Memory and time-based prospective memory are closely related, high working memory capacity group of pupils time-based prospective memory significantly with higher than low working memory capacity group, working memory span, the update function, coordination function and time-based prospective memory was a significant positive correlation, while the inhibition functions and time-based prospective memory was a significant negative correlation between time-based prospective memory, working memory span, the update function, coordination function has a significant positive prediction, and the inhibition of the function of time-based prospective memory significantly negative prediction. Working memory and time estimate for the distance is closely related to working memory span, the update function, coordination function and distance estimation was significantly positive related, but inhibit the function and distance estimation was significant with the negative related, working memory span, the update function, coordination function on the time interval is estimated to have a significant positive prediction, but inhibit the function of the distance is estimated to have a significant negative prediction. In summary, the results of this study show that the pupils time-based prospective memory there is a significant age effect, and when the distance estimates and working memory plays a vital role in the generation of such age effects.
