The ground anchorages have been widely used and significant achievements havebeen achieved in the civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and constructionengineering in China. However, the traditional anchor system in which the ordinarysteel bar is used as anchor and the ordinary cement slurry is used as grouting materialhas bad durability and its service life and the large bridges’ century-long design life isfar from coordination, and it seriously affects the safety and structure durability.Combining the science and technology projects in Hunan Provincial TrafficDepartment and the large high-performance rock anchor in Aizhai bridge design andconstruction, the long-term performance of high-performance rock anchor system isstudied in this thesis. Based on researches at home and abroad, the main research tasksare as follows:(1) Two sets full scale model with high-performance have been established at thescene, which get through the pull-out test to check the mechanical properties of thenew high-performance rock anchor system and complete the load lock after that. Byusing pressure sensor for long-term observation of the model’s anchoring force to getthe high-performance rock anchor prestressed load changing rule with time.(2) Based on the analysis and experimental results, this paper evaluates thelong-term performance of the high-performance rock anchor system and analyzes themain factors influencing its long-term performance.(3) The variation of the long-term performance of the high-performance rockanchor has been analyzed by using regression analysis, theoretical calculation, andnumerical simulation, which confirms the calculation and prediction methods of itsvariation.(4) Parameters in the numerical model were analyzed and the effects of differentmaterials’ parameters value on the results calculated by this model were alsodetermined. All these studies supply significant basis for a more precise way toanalyze the the long-term performance of the high-performance rock anchor system bynumerical model.
