Abstract


The brushless DC motor adopts electronic method to change phase, which avoids some disadvantages of the traditional DC motor caused by the brush friction. Furthermore, with many advantages such as little volume, high efficiency and good speed regulation, it is widely applied in industrial control areas and People’s Daily life. But because of the torque fluctuation when brushless dc motor is running, the application of it is affected in high precision demand occasions.This paper introduces the structure of the brushless dc motor and the working principle, analyzes its mathematical model and control method, and put forward a method to improve brushless dc motor speed control system performance by using the fuzzy adaptive PID controller.This paper established brushless dc motor control system with SIMULINK, the mathematical model based on fuzzy control and on-line adjusting control parameters method and further improved the performance of the PID controller. Simulation results show that the adjust time of the system is significantly reduced, also the speed fluctuation and the torque fluctuation are suppressed.This subject adopts dsPIC30F4011 (Digital signal Controller, DSC) made by Microchip company, complete brushless dc motor hardware and software Digital control solution based on fuzzy adaptive PID control. Also it makes detailed discussion of how to design the hardware and software control system. It discussed the main circuit module design when the whole control system is completed.At last, the testing phenomenon is observed at the control system running and the experimental results are analyzed. The self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller is better than traditional PID controller.
