Abstract


The chassis uses of off-road electric hub motor, four-wheel independent drive and independent synergistic steering, mainly composed by the electric wheel module, driver module, and control module. Which is characteristics with a simple structure, driving flexible, easy maintenance. The chassis hub motor, steering motor technology to simplify the transmission system, to improve the transmission efficiency; the parking technology without brakes, the brake system simple, and to improve the safety performance of vehicles; using four independent collaborative steering, reduce turning radius, improve turning speed of the wheels and the vehicle’s handling performance.Supported by a Science and Technology Development Project of Jilin Province, named "Development research and manufacturing of the omnidirectional AC drive electric wheel", Omni-directional electric off-road chassis with modular design, based on completed vehicles satisfy the traveling needs of power steering systems, steering systems, control systems. The chassis structure to ensure the strength requirements under normal driving by the key structural components of finite element analysis of the chassis, Completed the chassis steering mode selection by the chassis dynamics of the virtual prototype simulation analysis, and it gives a high and low speed steering proposals. This paper has certain reference significance for the study of omnidirectional electric vehicle.
