Abstract


With the rapid development and wide application of internet technology from the 1990s, the electronic commerce technology has made great progress as a new business model in a very short time. It breaks through the traditional operation of unidirectional logistics and establishes a new operation model which is dominated by business flows, and takes the logistics as its basis, information flows as its core. At the same time, the traditional business model of many industries has been greatly challenged by the wide application of electronic technology, which not only reduces the cost, but also promotes the efficiency and opens up the market.In recent years, special equipments have increased significantly at the rate of 17.5% per year, and present new characteristics such as large scale, systemic, high parameter and so on. The development of special equipments also sets up strict and high standards for the skill and competence of inspectors. Since the number and the ability of inspectors can greatly influence both the quantity and quality of inspection, the study of the application of electronic commerce in special equipment inspection is very important.On the basis of electronic commerce theory, the present paper first introduces the research background, and then elaborates the functions, characteristics, regulations and also the quality system of electronic commerce. It also makes a comprehensive analysis on the needs of electronic commerce according to the problem in inspection industry. With the assistance of various methods such as internet survey, questionnaire, interview and also inspection case study, the paper makes a thoroughly investigation of inspection procedures and the application of E-commerce in inspection industry, and promotes the application of E-commerce on the improvement of information management in inspection institution, the establishment of inspection institution website, and also the reestablishment of inspection procedures. It can greatly reduce the inspection time by 30% through the use of computer. Moreover, the application of E-commerce can also take the advantages of internet for promotion and distribution. In this way, not only different departments can share information with each other, the quality of inspection can also be guaranteed. At last, the paper also sets up a general framework for the system of electronic commerce.This paper claims to make a contribution on the application of operation guidance framework and the reestablishment of inspection procedures. A standardized operation guidance will be generated after inputting the information of inspected equipment. On the other hand, the reduction of inspection time and the control of human factors can improve the inspection efficiency and also the inspection quality.
