With the rapid development of the city, natural disasters especially earthquake occursfrequently, building to the development of large space、 ultra-high-level direction,so people paymore and more attention to the structural requirements of the building. A large number ofearthquake disasters displayed that it is the collapse of the housing that directly causing casualtiesand economic losses.Bearing column is a main building of the force member which determinewhether the building can be collapsed under the earthquake. Therefore, the columns under highaxial compression ratio conditions should meet the requirements of good carrying capacity andductility. Steel tube filled with steel-reinforced concrete composite column integrated theadvantage of steel concrete columns and steel reinforced concrete columns, further optimize theforce performance of the columns and meet the development needs of modern structure. Theresults show that the capacity of strong axis loading is higher than the weak axis, improving thestrength of concrete, the capacity is not obvious improved, increasing constraint effect coefficientand the yield strength of the steel can improve the bearing capacity of the component, increasingaxial compression ratio and shear span ratio will reduce the carrying capacity of the member.Using ABAQUS finite element analysis software to do the following research of the steeltube filled with steel-reinforced concrete composite column. On the basis of past research, simulate the axial compression test and derivate the theoretical formula of the axial compressivebearing capacity based on the general theory, then compared the calculated value and experimentalvalue, the results showed that calculation value have a good agreement with the theoretical value.Select weak and strong axis loading, concrete strength, constraint effect, steel yield strength, axial compressive ratio and shear-span ratio as the change of component parameters to analysisthe shear performance of steel tube filled with steel-reinforced concrete. Using stress cloudimages to analysis every stages of the shear stress mechanism. Select constraint effect coefficientand axial compression ratio as factors to simulation analysis the seismic performance of thecomponents. The results show that the load-displacement hysteresis curve of the components arestable and full. From the skeleton curve, get that improve constraint effect coefficient and reduce axial compression ratio can improve the seismic capacity, energy dissipation capacity and ductility, and the higher of axial compression ratio the faster of ductility declined. With the constraint effectcoefficient increases and axial compression ratio decreases, the stiffness degradation and strengthdegradation are getting smaller and smaller.
