High-energy laser fiber amplification network, the new form of laser driverwhich was newly proposed for future inertial fusion energy (IFE) application bythe academic. The laser system organizes a huge number of fiber amplifier unitsas a tree network, and output high-energy at last. The fiber amplifier network wasestablished to be one of the core technologies for the development of our nextgeneration of laser driver and research has been conducted comprehensively. Atpresent, although the laser network driver shows its’ huge potential, we have toface up to the big-square problem it brings to us. In addition, we have no idea ofwhat problems can laser network driver work out and how to combine newtechnologies with it.Firstly, this thesis solves the big-square problem by designing a power flowtopology optimization algorithm, and to make sure that the algorithm is correctand efficient, the network and components model is modeled, the lowest costs ofthe network and pump power of the system is optimized. Secondly, this thesisdoes research about laser network driver’ beam power imbalance problem fromtwo sides: one is how to control network node’s power imbalance problem so thatthe driver’s beam power imbalance problem can be decreased. Another isproposing constraint conditions of uniform irradiation qualitatively andquantitatively. At last, a preliminary conception which combines the fiber SBSamplification Brillouin Amplification Network is proposed.With the power flow topology optimization algorithm, multi-target andmulti-constraint network’s problem can be optimized, and as the algorithm bothhas fast speed and high precision, it will be a useful tool to doing deep researchabout the network. By optimizing the network node’s power imbalance problem,conducting the laser network driver’s beam power imbalance problem research isbegun. From the result of uniform irradiation research, it is no doubt that thenetwork driver has huge potential for uniform irradiation. a preliminaryconception which combines the fiber SBS amplification is proposed.
