Abstract


Wind power has become an important development direction of the energygeneration as renewable resources and non-pollution to environment.As a largeenergy demand country, development of wind energy accord with thesustainability of energy utilization and environment-friendly in China. But theproblems of safety and reliability of the equipment and operation managementare more prominent as plenty of new Turbines in a short time,and the safetyincidents occurs frequently. Fire accident on Wind turbine has been became thecommon safety incidents causing the risk source, more dangerous and heavy loss.The paper focuses on following research of ejection and flowing characteristicsof powder extinguishing system on wind turbine nacelle.1.Deep analysis of the establishment of the model, parameter set, the settingof the boundary condition between continuous phase and discrete phase ofejection and flowing process of powder extinguishing system on wind turbinenacelle,and providing a reasonable model for the process of numerical simulation.2.Determine the position of fire hazard on wind turbine nacelle byqualitative analysing of risk source of fire on wind turbine nacelle. To identifythe most dangerous position and placement of fire extinguishing devices byanalyzing and comparing the temperature value of monitor.3.Research the effect of nozzle shape and storage pressure to the ejectedparticles tracks of powder extinguishing system,and the law of the particletrajectory under the working condition of closed nacelle.4.Simulating the action law of ejection and flowing of powder on windturbine nacelle under the influence factor of nozzle shape, storage pressure,horizontal placement and different height in actual operation with wind. Analyzing and comparing diffusion trajectory of particle, the nephogram ofconcentration and the flow of particle with no wind.In the course of the study,simulating the flowing of ejected particles ofpowder extinguishing system on wind turbine nacelle by application of CFDsoftware,and use of analysing the measured data and numerical simulation. Theconclusions will provide reference for the design, selection and optimization ofthe extinguishing system on wind turbine nacelle.
