Abstract


The tobacco leaf-cutting machine is an important part of tobacco seedlings floatingnursery production, and has a great impact on the sound seedlings and increasingproduction. However, the most of tobacco leaf-cutting machines have imitated garden andharvesting machinery, the quality of work is seldom satisfy with framer. This paper, whichbase on mass literature and interview with the tobacco farmers, describes the four types ofleaf-cutting machine principle which are classified by cutting principle;analyses themovement of the rotary leaf-cutting machine,which choose in the light of applicablecharacteristics of four types leaf-cutting machine, and tool trajectory; summarizes thefactors that affecting work quality of the rotary leaf-cutting machine; and derives the basicparameters relationships of impacting leaf-cutting machine work factors. Using SolidWorks to model, assemble, motion simulation leaf-cutting machine, and finite elementanalyze the machine blade. Finally, testing leaf-cutting machine work quality andproductivity which base on the tobacco-growing areas trials in Luo Ping country Yunnanprovince to propose advice of improving and design leaf-cutting machine.
