Based on the5TG-3Millet thresher developed by ShanXi Agriculture University, the conducted research indicated that millet threshing holds the feature of large labor intensity, Strong seasonality and low production efficiency, and it can lead to foxtail millet mildew and insect damage if threshing is not proceeded timely.However, threshing before taking will reduce the loss rate,breakage rate and impurity rate, and increase the quality of millet threshing.Therefore,the innovative design of the performance test of the millet threshing device has got important practical significance.The design and research objects are washboard and threshing roller, aiming to alleviate the breakage and loss rate of the millet. The kinematics and dynamics analysis of key components is conducted by Matlab/Simulink, which also carries on the kinematics and dynamics simulation. The general design of of the performance test of the millet threshing device,such as washboard,vibrosieve,threshing cylinder and draught fan, are conducted by application of agricultural machinery design theory and softwares such as SolidWords and Ansys. The conclusion is as follows:(1) Conduct the nnovative design of the threshing device that is suitable for grain, design a new type of spiral spike-tooth cylinder threshing device,complete primary threshing of grain,then conduct the secondary threshing with rub threshing device.Last, screen the grain with the coordination of vibrating screen and centrifugal fan to complete the whole process of threshing.(2) Carry on the kinematics analysis of vibrating screen structures. As the reciprocating movement of the vibrating screen will influence the grain screening after threshing, the angular displacement diagram,angular velocity diagram and angular acceleration diagram of each pole are obtained under the condition of reciprocating motion of vibrating screen,which provided the basis for the design of the vibrating screen.(3) get the kinematics and dynamics rule of washboard four link mechanism through the analysis of structuring kinematics and dynamics washboard. Confirm the size of each pole by the kinematics rules, ensure the constraining force and torque on the crank rocker in each pole.Apply Ansys to make statics mechanical analysis of washboard linkage and gain the displacement contour diagram on x,y and z axis of the linkage. All of them provides basis for the structure and components analysis.(4) Confirm relevant parameters on the basis of the analysis and conduct the disign and calculation of relevant componets based on it.Meanwile, related design is proceeded on the whole mechanical structure and major part.The3-D design about relevent components is drawn by SolidWords.
