Abstract


According to the demands of the agricultural public project "the investigation of biological resource and main tenance technology in the Huang sea and the Bo sea"(project NO.200903005), which is undertaken by the Modern Fishery Research Institute od Yantai University, the research group evaluated the enhangcement of jellyfish by means of field investigation, conversation and accessed relevant information, which provided scientific evidence for healthy development of enhancement during every May to July in2010-2012. The basic situation of jellyfish quality the situation of original resource, the ratio of natural population and releasing population, the enhancement technology and the economic, social and ecological benefit are evaluated by an annual investigation of the amount of original resource, tracking resource, final resource and dynamic production. The results show that:1. The umbrella diameter of releasing jellyfish in2010and2011were more than8mm and10mm in size in2012. According to the survey fromShandong Marine Fishing and Production Management Station, the qualification rate of releasing jellyfish in the south of Shandong Peninsula is90%, which is required to be above85%.2. According to the investigation of original and increased resource of jellyfish, the percentage of natural jellyfish population is low. In2010, the percentage of natural and releasing population is o.13%and99.87%,2.10%and97.90%in2011,2.68%and97.32%in2012. The analysis shows that the releasing population is of major components, but the proportion of natural population also presents a rising tend. The results show that the establishment of enhancement plays a positive role in the recovery of natural population.3. The paper analyzes the total number of jellyfish and the distribution characteristics as well as the ecological type and dominant species of Zooplankton in this area. The relationship between the distribution of the dominant Zooplankton and that of the amount of releasing jellyfish shows that the distribution of jellyfish and copepods is a negative correlation, which the more jellyfish, the less copepods. There is a reciprocal relationship between jellyfish and copepods.4. Through the investigation of original and increased resource amount, the effect of enhancement is remarkable in terms of the capture rate and input-output ratio in the south of Shandong Peninsular. It has formed stable catching season since the establishment of jellyfish enhancement in2005. According to the statistics from the research group and fishery cooperative units, since2007,the amount of capture has been more than10,000t at average. The inshore fisheries near Rushan Bay and Dingzi Bay is the main distribution area, even with some high-yield area. The annual profikeeps150millions and the input-output ratio closed to1:25. In2010, the jellyfish enhancement made a great success with capture18,378t, capture rate1.49%, input-output ratio1:23:53and profit141million. In2011, a good economic benefit was achieved with capure amount14,659t, capture rate1.46%, input-output rate1:26.91and profit161millions. In2012, the amount which could be capture was17,000t. By the end of November, the capture amount was9617.4t, production value1.39million, profit92million, input-output rate1:1.35and capture rate0.85%, which is the lowest in the last three years.
