Abstract


The transport of live fish is an important part of the fishery production, and the centralquestion of this part is how to improve the survival rate of fish during transport. Territory ofChina is very extensive, and aquatic products especially fish are rich in resources. Thetransport development of keeping the fish alive is also very rapid, gradually developing intothe high-speed, high-density travel and container transport from the early tank method.However, there are still problems of containing only a small amount of fish, low survival rate,high transport costs, and the lack of control measures as well. Therefore, it is of greatsignificance to improve transport methods of keeping the fish alive, or to study some newkeep-alive transport units which will be used in the keeping alive transport of fish or otheraquatic to obtain high-quality fresh seafood. Thus, market needs can be met and people’s livescan also be enriched.A monitoring and control system of refrigeration and oxygen for live fish transport wasdesigned. On the basis of the automotive air conditioning, the turbocharger was adapted toprovide oxygen automatically, fully integrating cooling and aeration, and because of it watercould be cooled, at the same time, oxygen would be provided for the entire body of wateraerobics with the effect of indoor oxygen providing. The AT89C51microcontroller waschosen as the core of the control, and real-time monitoring of the amount of dissolved oxygenand the temperature of the water in the tank was achieved by dissolved oxygen andtemperature sensors.The air conditioning was real-time controlled by software programming,achieving the control of dissolved oxygen and temperature of the water. The diesel enginewhich was separated from the car’s dynamic was chosen as a stand-alone drive power, trulyrealizing not being affected by the road conditions and all types of emergencies.The control system mainly comprises the microcontroller, data acquisition circuit, A/Dconversion circuit, control circuit and keyboard input and display circuit. Function ofparameters displaying, real-time detection and the control of the air-conditioning system canbe achieved. The range of the Water temperature (0to99°C) and the amount of dissolved oxygen (0to25mg/L) can be set by software programming.The test results show that the control system of data collection errors are within theallowable range, which can meet the on-line monitoring requirements of the watertemperature and dissolved oxygen in water for live fish during transport. Software programsare wrote by C language and control system circuit and procedures will be simulated byProteus to verify its feasibility.The monitoring and control system of refrigeration and oxygen for live fish transport canachieve the monitoring and control of temperature and dissolved oxygen in the transport forlive fish in the water environment, maintaining the best transport living environment for livefish. Thus, transport survival of live fish can be improved, and good social and economicbenefits can be made.
