Abstract


Public participation in criminal justice means people can use a variety of lawful ways to participate, influence criminal justice activities. It is a way to achieve judicial democracy, a kind of legitimacy demands and principle to construct and operate the judicial system, a inherent meaning to build a harmonious society.Now criminal miscarriages happen frequently when we build the criminal justice system,so we have to suspect that the criminal justice system is reasonable.Though the emergence of miscarriages is due to many factors, but the the main reason is that the criminal justice process is short of public participation and supervision.This article tries to start with the the theory of public participation in criminal justice to analyse public participation in criminal justice of our country. The article have three thousand words.In addition to the foreword and epilogue, the article is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduce whatt is public participation, what is the public participation in criminal justice. And the theory of people involved in criminal justice. Finally it analyses the legitimacy of public participation in the criminal justice.The second part analyses the value of popular participation in the criminal justice home. The value of the people involved in criminal justice has many functions,this part introduces judicial democracy, justicejudicial independence, judicial supervision, to educate the public five major aspects chiefly.The third and fourth part is the focus of this article, The third part describes the basic content, characteristic, function, and defects of People Supervisor and People Assessors. For these shortcomings,the part four made specific comments from the macro and micro aspects, and different angles on the improvement of the people involved in criminal justice.
