Objective: Evaluation of clinical therapeutic effect of acupotomy cervicalperipheral acupoints to treat cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. New treatmentfor cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type operation, good effect, easy to promote. Toprovide new ideas and methods for the research and application of traditional Chinesemedicine acupoints around the neckMethods: This study selected60patients of vertebral artery type of cervicalspondylosis patients, randomized, controlled, put into the cases were divided into2groups,with Acupotomy carotid Zhou Yuxue as the treatment group, the acupuncture neckacupoints as control group, were compared between two groups before and after treatmentin cervical physiological curvature, differences cervical AROM etc, to evaluate the clinicalefficacy of the treatment group. And the data were statistically analyzed, whether there isstatistical significance was observed in the2groups.Results: The study included cases of vertebral artery type of cervical disease in60cases. In the evaluation of cervical vertigo symptom and function score,2groups beforetreatment and after treatment were significantly relieve symptoms; and after treatment intreatment group and control group were compared, the difference was statisticallysignificant (p<0.05), prompting Acupotomy cervical peripheral acupoints can better relievethe pain of measuring cervical physiological curvature value, have significant differencesbetween the2groups before and after treatment, after treatment, experimental group aftertreatment, and the control group comparison of measured value, the difference wasstatistically significant (p<0.05), prompting Acupotomy cervical peripheral acupoints can improve the physiological curvature of cervical vertebra.③after the end of treatment, thetreatment group11cases were cured,12cases markedly effective,6cases improved,1cases ineffective, the total effective rate was96.7%; the control group cured9cases,effective in13cases,6cases were improved,2cases ineffective, the total efficiency of93.3%. The two group total effective rate after statistical analysis, no significant difference(P>0.05); group two cure rate through the analysis comparison, the difference wassignificant (P<0.05); the treatment group than the control group.Conclusion: Acupotomy cervical peripheral acupoint efficacy in the treatment ofvertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis is significantly, safe and reliable, is an idealtreatment method. The study of acupotomy treatment method of releasing acupoints aroundneck and neck acupoints acupuncture group as compared to the control group, thetreatment group in the clinical curative effect and the function of cervical spine were betterthan the control group, Acupotomy neck acupoints around method is more convenient, safe,and has a good application prospect in clinic.
