Abstract


Objectives: Based on the previous studies, through a large number of clinicalnormative research, the study try to clear the TCM syndrome type,the main symptoms andthe correlation of Pediatrics Functional Constipation, to provide objective basis for rationalclinical syndrome differentiation.Methods: According to earlier studies and diagnostic standard reference forPediatrics Functional Constipation, making the questionnaire of Pediatrics FunctionalConstipation to collect TCM diagnostic information of Pediatrics Functional Constipationand establish syndrome information database, then analysis this database with thestatistical software of SPSS17.0for frequency and X2analysis.Results: The Age of onset of208collected children is mainly under5years old withthe ration of the male and female about1:1. The TCM syndrome type is given priority toHot and dry FC, Qi deficiency FC and Dyspepsia FC. Different clinical syndrome featureshave different factors. The main symptoms of Pediatrics Functional Constipation areconstipated, laborious, less than2bowel movements per week,defecation time is5～10min.The syndrome type is closely related with the age,the family history,the diet andother symptoms.Conclusion: Through this clinical case investigation, the TCM syndrome type,themain symptoms and the correlation of Pediatrics FC can be cleared to provide objectivebasis for rational clinical syndrome differentiation.
