Lycoris sprengeri Comes ex Baker originates in the lower reaches of the YangtzeRiver. Its bulbs have been used as traditional Chinese medicinal materials for thetreatment of tumefaction, pruritus, flare and scald. LS-27is a novel compound.LS-1-31are isolated from this plant for the first time.The results of a series of pharmacological screening experiments suggest thatLS-6, LS-12LS-17, LS-21, LS-23, LS-24, LS-25, LS-27, LS-28, LS-30can protect（SH-SY5Y）against the oxidative damage caused by H2O2in varying degrees, andLS-12, LS-14LS-17, LS-19, LS-23, LS-24and LS-30can protect SH-SY5Y cellsagainst the hypoxic damage caused by CoCl2significantly.
