Abstract


ObjectiveThrough the investigation on needs of home care in maintenancehemodialysis, knowing the people in the home care focuses on whichaspects of requirements, thus more direction more targeted to improvemaintenance hemodialysis patient’s quality of life, also to develop thecommunity family nursing service content to provide reference and basis.MethodsUsing random sampling method, in three level of first-class hospital inChongqing that the first affiliated hospital of Chongqing medical universityhospital, the third people’s hospital of Chongqing and Chongqing TraditionalChinese Medicine Hospital study was conducted in220patients withmaintenance hemodialysis. The questionnaire’s content included6parts: thehemodialysis patients’charateristics, the hemodialysis patients’careresources, the hemodialysis patients’functional health status, clinical healthinformation, assessment on the overall health status of the hemodialysispatients and the hemodialysis patients’ nursing demands and so on. Using Software Packages of Statistical SPSS17.0to investigate all of the dataprocessing and statistical analysis. Descriptive analyses，Chi-square test andmultinomial logistic regression analysis were performed in the research．ResultsCollected a total of220questionnaires,202valid questionnaires.Among the202hemodialysis patients,175were willing to accept the needsof home care, the demand rate was86.6%. Demand for projects focused onhealth education and nursing instruction. The multiple factornon-conditional Logistic regression analysis showed that the influencefactors of hemodialysis patients’ demand for home care including: age，education level，marital status, eyesight condition.Conclusions1. Maintenance hemodialysis patients’ demand for home care rate was86.6%, the impact factors including: age，education level，marital status,eyesight condition.2. Community health service centers and hospitals should attachimportance to and actively carry out home care services, intensifypropaganda for home care services and guide the home care servicesutilization in hemodialysis patients.3. Establish and perfect the community health services, includinghome care, rules and regulations and strengthen management. Improve thefamily nursing service quality and ensure medical safety, meet the health needs of hemodialysis patients.
