Abstract


This paper applies the method of comparing and explores the reasons, causes, finals, reflections of Haizi and Sergei Yesenin’s poetics with seeking common creative ideas. The prodigal poetry in this paper is the key of this comparison. The prodigal trip is consistently throughout the paper.First chapter is back grounded by Haizi and Yesenin’s common childhood living in the countryside then leaving and the analysis of the homeland consciousness in the poetry of the looming; the second chapter analyzes their poems by showing the unique phenomenon, namely Yesenin’s "imagery" in philosophical thoughts and his unique theory of "image", while the Haizi’s is the "real" poems and the mature "element poems" on the basis of the gradual development of the "real" ones. The external forms contain the Heidegger’s saying about the searching for "home" state, and the meaning of life; the meaning of life in the third chapter develops from the previous chapter to the ultimate of death; the fourth chapter is a summarize of the prodigal action on both poetics, namely the affirmation of the value of life and the poetic undertaking of the pain of life, eventually showing the saving consciousness and poetic spirits.This paper summed up the Haizi and Yesenin’s unique prodigal poetics on the basis of comparative analysis:searching for "home" state in the repeated leaving home and the returning. These repeated leavings actually are the spirit having no places to belonging to, which is just the prodigal poetic essence. In their poems,"prodigal" not only owns the feature of mental vagrancy, but also reflects on the tragedy of "homeless".
