Abstract


Korean poems written in Chinese have high place in the history of Korean Literature. The high status comes from their research value as an important example of international dissemination of Chinese language. Shijing, a milestone in the history of Chinese Literature, is one of the most common reference materials of Korean Poems Written in Chinese.From the perspective of allusion, I analyze how Korean poets used allusions of Shijing by a general investigation of Jiya, an all-around collection of Korean poems written in Chinese.Firstly, this paper analyses using conditions of allusions drawn out from Shijing in Korean poems written in Chinese by some methods of descriptive statistics. Secondly, this paper classifies these quotations of allusions into three tiers from plain meaning to complex meaning. Thirdly, this paper compares some typical allusions’quotation in Korean poems written in Chinese with their usage conditions in traditional Chinese classics.According to foregoing analysis, this paper shows a successful case of cultural transmission and summarized some good enlightenments about teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages in the modern society.
