Abstract


At present, rarely studies on integration of Jin and Songliterature have been found. Most of scholars who are expert in theliterature of Jin dynasty exclusively devote themselves tospecialized researches. The same applies with those who study onthe literature in Song dynasty. There is little attention to therelationship between Jin and song literature. Although somescholars have made efforts and contribution to the relationship ofthe Song and Jin literature, they mainly focus on the literature insong dynasty which leads to unappreciated literature in Jin dynasty.The result objectively neglects independent status of the literaturein Jin dynasty which makes the literature in Jin dynasty become aslave. In this paper, the focus is placed on the literature in Jindynasty. As a starting point, it will be actively contacted with theliterature in Song dynasty. In this way we can make affirmatives ofthe independent status of the literature in Jin dynasty, and improveher position in the literary history. This article makes theconception of the relationship between Jin and Song literature. Theperspective of this paper is the literature in Jin dynasty who is thebiggest beneficiary in this literary communication. The introduction describes the topic reason, significance and research status. Thetext builds relationship between the Jin and Song literature withtheir inheritance, communication and blending. The first partdiscusses the relationship between Jin dynasty and the literature inNorthern Song dynasty, which holds that Jin dynasty directly inheritthe literature in Northern Song dynasty with “getting a lot of books”and “accepting a large number of educated people”. The first partspecifically explains in three ways including poem, Ci and prosethat those educated people in Song dynasty entering Jin dynastymake great contribution to the literature in Jin dynasty. As theefforts of the educated people from song dynasty, Guo Chao LiteraryGroup emerges. At this point, Jin dynasty finally has the ownrelatively independent literature; also has the qualification ofcommunicating with the literature in Southern Song dynasty. Thesecond part and third part discuss the relationship between Jin andsouthern Song literature. The political opposition of Jin andSouthern Song dynasties can’t stop the communication andblending between Jin and Song literature. The second part mainlydiscusses the communication of Jin and Southern Song literature.Diplomatic system lays a foundation for the communication of Jinand Song literature. Envoys of jin and song dynasties not onlytransfer the books but also make great contribution to thecommunication of both sides. The Chang He and friends of envoysas well as the literature wrote by envoys are achievements on thecommunication of Jin and Song literature. The communication andtransmit of Jin and Song literature lead to a higher level whichcalled the literature discussion stage. The scholars in Jin dynasty make discussion and criticism of those literatures from SouthernSong dynasty. In the same way, the scholars in Southern Songdynasty hold some views to the literature from Jin dynasty. Bothsides launch a great discussion about the foreign literature. Thethird part discusses the blending of Jin and Southern Song literature,which is the continuation and further development of thecommunication between Jin and Song literature. The blending of Jinand Song literature has made positive contributions to the culturalfusion of the north and south.
