Abstract

Citizen journalism in new media conditions, citizens expressed the desire unprecedented outbreak. The problem, however, the ensuing libel abuse, false information, violation of the legitimate rights of others. Reason, different quality of citizen reporters to traditional media, lack of guidance, lack of a correct understanding of the government and media management agency for citizen journalism. These are the understanding and application of the manifestation of the ability of the media information that is related to the main media literacy of citizen journalism. At present, China is in an important period of social transition, thinking and emotional state of the citizens in the immature, unstable embarrassing period. However, the development of new technologies and the rise of democratic ideas, so that citizens in a wave of citizen journalism. How to make citizen journalism toward the right direction? How to improve media literacy to improve citizen journalism? We must face and solve the problem. This paper is to find the reason for their problems from the perspective of media literacy in the background of the rapid development of new media, starting from the current reality of citizen journalism, and enhance and improve media literacy perspective, to explore the orderly development of citizen journalism strategies to analyze and solve current and future citizen journalism practical problems, some strategies and recommendations.
