Abstract


This paper takes “Taoli Cup” competition as the breakthrough point,analyzing the style and attribute of classical dance in each competition andexploring the education development trend (talent mode and teaching mode)through classical dances. This competition has witnessed27years of rise andfall. From the vertical point of view, the work and structures are constantlybrought forth new through the old, the overall performance level ofcontestants rises continuously and techniques are in constant innovation.From the horizontal perspective, the competition is an effective platform forthe exhibition of teaching achievements. It can stimulate the teaching modeof Chinese classical dance and improve the academic integrity. It has becomethe main channel for cultivating comprehensive talents of classical dance inChina. Those are the reasons for the establishing of the competition andimportant basis for dance teachers to study and explore the objective law ofteaching.
