Abstract

In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology, communication has become an indispensable part of people's daily life. Switch as the core of the communication network, plays a huge role in promoting the development of modern communication technology. Experimental teaching has verified theoretical knowledge, but also is to train students to bridge the transition from theory to practice and innovation. The switch is a strong practical courses, experimental teaching will not only help students master switch principle, better train students hands-on practice and innovation ability. Traditional switch experimental system to provide students with a good confirmatory experimental platform, but creative ability in addition to the need for confirmatory experimental platform, but also need to have a design experiment platform. Access to a large number of documents, the principles and characteristics of the existing switch experimental system analysis, while retaining the advantage of traditional switches experimental device based on the design of a modular, hierarchical, integrated and innovative design of modern communication switch experimental system. Firstly, given the principle of the switch experimental system, and analyzes the difference between the actual products and their own characteristics, designed on the basis of modern communication switch experimental system. The system uses a common backplane, backplane two structures of eight modules can not only replace the traditional experimental box to the switching system experiment, also be used for the communication network core switching communications network experiment. On the completion of the overall design of the the eight module's hardware circuit design, the design closely integrate the theoretical principles of universal modular, open interfaces and secondary development of design ideas, complete switch to design principle from the validation multiple experiments content. Complete the hardware design, this paper gives the software design of the experimental system, including switches control procedures, improved procedures and user-friendly PC management program slot. According to the experimental design of the system, given the experiment content in the experimental system, including eight individual experiment, four experimental system experiments and five designing experiments, and some key experimental content detail instructions. Space division switching and time division switching two experiments to test and analysis results show that the experimental system is designed properly, functions and indicators are to meet the requirements.
