Abstract


"Mawlid" is an important part of the islamic festival culture, Mawlid and eid al-fitr and eid al-adha called Islam three holiday."Mawlid"since the Fatima dynasty (about the tenth century AD) has been considered one of the important festivals of Islam,and through the long history of development,"Mawlid" in different regions but also has the place characteristic, Mawlid is the Muslim masses a religious duty, express religious feelings of an important part of the ceremony. Which also show the religious phenomenon with the localization of islamic culture in different areas. Mawlid in China, also has wide influence in the Muslim masses. the influence of domestic for Mawlid of research is lack of some. The current domestic research on islamic festival related books or study mainly introductory research, few systematic, comprehensive, objective and in-depth research methods of "Mawlid" this kind of religious culture phenomenon of whole process, involved in religious literature, religious and social significance to make research papers or writings. This thesis through to the Mawlid of religious anthropology research, the ritual process of Mawlid complete record, relevant documents organizing, meaning excavation section of Mawlid, further enrich the current research achievements of national culture.Islamic religious atmosphere in linxia region, the region at the memory of Mawlid activity characteristic, also can be as a Muslim northwestern region representative of the Mawlid activities. In linxia area Mawlid study of the literature is not a lot, but national religious holiday culture as part of the culture of the Chinese nation, have positive significance to the research.Mosque in linxia area in this Thesis a Mawlid by anthropological investigation method to carry on the comprehensive survey, record and research, to participate in Mawlid activities of muslims conducted interviews and questionnaire survey, and analysed and studied. In addition, in linxia area Mawlid activity peculiar to religious experience are analyzed.
