Abstract


After the victory of the October Revolution, Marxism began to spread a lot in China. As an important part of Marxism, Marxist philosophy also started the development process in China, that China’s history. So what is the Marxist philosophy in China? Although the academic discussion of specific aspects in the eyes of the beholder wise see wisdom, it is generally believed that Marxist philosophy in China is the core of Marxism in China, Marxism in China is the first Marxist Philosophy in China. Generally speaking, Marxist philosophy in China there are two main implications: First, it means the combination of China’s social reality and Marxist Philosophy, that use of Marxist Philosophy analysis of China’s national conditions, and on this basis forming the correct line, principles, policy consistent with China’s reality; second, it is the combination of The Marxist philosophy and traditional Chinese philosophy, that is criticizing and inheriting traditional Chinese philosophy in accordance with the basic principles of Marxism. No doubt, Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping (who are Chinese Communist Party leader) made an outstanding contribution in promoting the Marxist philosophy in China. But at the same time, some scholars in the advocacy and research of Marxist also made gratifying achievements, Yang Xianzhen is one of the representative one.Yang Xianzhen(1896.7～1992.8) who is a famous Marxist philosophers, theorists, educators in Contemporary China, served as president and Party Secretary of the CPC Central High School. As a famous philosopher, theorists, educators in China of the 20th century, in the half century after 1940s,Yang Xianzhen not only has made outstanding achievements in researching, advocating and defending Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism; he also has made important contributions in promoting the Marxist philosophy in China. Can be said that he was the people we can not bypass when we study history of Modern Chinese Thought and history of modern Chinese philosophy. In terms of Marxist philosophy in China, on the one hand, Yang Xianzhen noting the combination of Marxist Philosophy and the reality of Chinese revolution and construction, proposing "Materialism is the party spirit," "Comprehensive Economic Base Theory" and other theories, made important contributions for the development of Marxist philosophy in China; other hand, he was also committed to combine Marxist philosophy with the traditional Chinese philosophy, proposing the "combining two into one" theory and so on. These ideas of him not only enrich the theoretical treasure house of Marxist Philosophy in China treasures, but also the modernization of our country also have an important reference to our country’s current modernization. Researching of his philosophy that is also has an important ideological and academic significance for us to study Marxist Philosophy in China.Under the guidance of the principle of seeking truth from facts, based on specific historical data, this article attempts to sum up an outstanding contribution that Yang Xianzhen make in the process of him promoting Marxist Philosophy in China systematically. There are four main aspects of the specific content: the first part is a generalization of Theoretical foundation of Yang Xianzhen Marxist Philosophy in China; the second part analyzes the achievement that Yang Xianzhen who was committed to combine Marxist philosophy and the reality of China make; the third part discusses the results that Yang Xianzhen who was committed to combine Marxist philosophy with Traditional Chinese culture make; the fourth part is summarizing Yang Xianzhen’s contribution in promoting Marxist philosophy in China, and discoursing on Yang Xianzhen’s scientific evaluation with regard to the outstanding achievements of Marxist philosophy in China.
