Abstract


Education originates from the need of human life, and is common in our daily.The connotation of education is constantly developing with the progress of society.The function of education has been gained more and more attention during theunderstanding for education. The educational function and social function have beenwidely accepted, especially the economic function, political function and culturalfunction in social functions. With the development of the interdiscipline, theeducational function appeared in people’s perspective again as a more professionalvocabulary after Robert King Merton set a new analytical theory. It is hard to ignorethat the educational function contains not only the positive function expected by thepeople but also the dysfunction with alternative being, which affects the emotion, theattitude and the choice of values for the educatee. This research was aimed to gain therelated concepts and characteristics of the educational dysfunction by means ofmechanism analysis for the educational function, and then to findeffective strategies to control the educational dysfunction through the case analysisduring the classroom teaching in elementary school.
