In recent years, mind maps are widely used in various disciplines of teaching, and the influence of different disciplines of mind mapping is also different, such as the application of mind map in science and math focuses on training the students’ ability of logical analysis, while in liberal arts orientation focuses on the use of mind mapping to improve students’ ability to remember. This article through the literature method, experimental method and survey method for mind mapping influence carries on the empirical research on information technology, discusses the application of mind map in the feasibility and necessity of the discipline, experimental analysis and combined with teaching mind map effects on primary school information technology courses.Studies suggest that mind mapping exercise is beneficial to students’ divergent thinking ability; Under the guidance of mind mapping students can complete the learning task more quickly and efficiently; Mind mapping is conducive to the students to better establish the knowledge structure, combing the knowledge concerning meaningful learning; Mind maps and information technology can enhance student’s study interest, raise the level of student’s information.From the Angle of theory, this study verify positive influence of the mind map for teaching at the same time, the empirical study of mind maps provide practical basis for the research of brain science. From a practical point of view, a mind map is introduced into primary school information technology combine to teach to fully exercise the thinking ability of students, promote the student to the knowledge structure, make between, between teachers and students, form the interaction between disciplines, promote meaningful learning and collaborative learning, fully develop the students’ skills in the21st century.
