Rite is an ancient social and cultural phenomenon, it throughout all areas of life, school rite is a specialized procedure and standard social activity, it was held in a specific place, teachers and students all participate in, and it indicate specific meaning, like some unusual moment, an event or change in school life. At present, the situation of school rite, most rites instead of lesson schoolwork, rite has become a form of specious and it did not play a role of itself be.In this study,based on the problems of school rite, this paper from cultural angle approached school rite development condition by researched Jilin five middle schools rite conditions through questionaries and interviews.This paper is divided into four parts.Part one is the introduction,in this part we summarized study background,target,and methods of the research and so on.Part two is the theory of the school rites and summed up the characteristics and classification of school rite, and pointed out the meaning of construction of school rite for the school culture construction,such as continuite,innovate and rich cultural. Part three is the practice of the school rites and analysized an summarized the problems of school rites.Part four is the conclusion, we reflected on the pros and cons of the school rite, and in the meanwhile we can through tap the body significance of ceremony,attention to ceremony participants,seeking multi-party help to improve the school ceremony for construction.
