Abstract

Gradually into a well-off society in our country because of the rapid economy development, but the students’ health doesn’t improve with the improving living standards. The Opinions of the Central Committee Council of CPC on Strengthening the Youth Physique, the School Sports Work Regulations are carried out, which is a sign of the council concerning about adolescent health of students, paying attention to physical education of the junior high school and the physical entrance examination. The reform of physical examination has been implemented for years, but the health conditions of students are still unsatisfactory, even down in some areas. Thus the reform faces opportunity as well as challenge. Qichun county as a poor county with a population more than a million, in Dabie mountains in the east mountainous area in Hubei province, where there are many rural students, most of their fitness is not ideal with the improvement of living standards, in fact it upsets us that the rural students’ healthy doesn’t improve much under the higher standards of living. In2012, the bureau of education has put the reform of the examination of junior middle school sports into practice, then what will the physical examination reform effect on the teaching of junior middle school sports in the countryside of Qichun?In this paper, we study on grade three students in rural areas in Qichun as the research object, adopt documentary and material method, mathematical statistics, questionnaire investigation, expert interviews and other research methods and so on, in order to analyze the present situation, characteristics and effect of physical examination implementation, and put forward the conclusions and recommendations to further improve and provide the reference to implement the system of physical examination. Our research and analysis are followed. Most junior middle schools in Qichun county belittle physics, only pay attention to the examination itself, ignores the sports and physical teaching and deviates from the physical teaching goal. They welcome the reform, but teachers focus on training examination contents which are rigid and boring with simple and fixed methods, thus the students lack learning motivation and activity in class. The implementation of physical examination reform has promoted the introduction of sports talents coming into Qichun county, which improves the rural school physical teachers’ quality, but their activity are still low. The implementation of physical examination to a certain extent also promotes the students’ physical health, the students correct the students’ learning attitude and shape the habit of physical exercise, they are willing to take more time to do exercises. The implementation of the physical examination has affected the left-behind students in rural areas, which gives them some fairness on the entrance examination.
