Abstract


Colleges and universities is the important place to cultivate college students’ growth andsuccess. It is the main land to carry out ideological and political education. The counselor isone of the main forces of education management for college students. Ministry of educationof the common institutions of higher learning counselor team construction regulations, said:"the counselor is an important part of the teaching team and management team in institutionof higher learning and has the dual identity of teachers and cadres. The counselor is thebackbone of ideological and political education. The counselor is the organizers, practitionersand mentors of university student daily thought political education and management work."The relationship between counselors and students is a kind of special relationship betweenteachers and students of higher education activities. With the advent of the era of knowledgeeconomy and the continuous development of market economy, the enrollment expansion ofcolleges and universities and the construction of multi-campus situation increasinglyprominent, the relationship between counselors and students in the new period turns up newchanges and new features. So, in this historical condition, counselors and students’relationship status in the new period, and how to survey the new situation of universitycounselors and students’ relationship and carries on the rational thinking, is worth to studyfurther.This paper mainly analyzes and research through the sampling survey method, literaturemethod, experience method and analysis method of theory with practice. Through a largecollection of documents in this field of research results at home and abroad, and study ofcollected data, contrast, screening, and summarizes the development trend of the currentresearch status and provide theory basis for the further study of the paper. Through thesampling questionnaire survey on100counselors of seven universities in Shanxi Province anda questionnaire survey was conducted among500students, statistics and analysis, in referenceto related scholars, on the basis of existing research results, the author thinks that relationships between students mainly exist in the new period the hereditary relationship between teachersand students, emotional indifference type of relationship between teachers and students andutilitarian teacher-student relationship and conflict of teacher-student relationship and otherissues. In view of the question reason analysis, based on the analysis of relationship betweeninstructors and students in the new period the problems and reasons on the basis of theproposed some countermeasures for constructing the new relationship between students in thenew period:(1) subject interactive between teachers and students relations;(2) the reasonableblend of teacher-student relationship;(3) teacher and friend-type relationship betweenteachers and students;(4) service relationship between teachers and students. In the newperiod is proposed in the new relationship between students, on the basis of further discussingthe relationship between the instructor and students in the new period to build the value ofideological and political education for college students. At the same time, in order to make theeducation countermeasures of university counselors and students relations in the new periodcan get effective implementation, and also puts forward the update education teachingthoughts and ideas and security measures such as reforming management system of collegesand universities.
