Abstract


With the continuous development of science and technology , especially computer and network technology , the field of automation and control has undergone huge changes , more and more intelligent devices are used in industrial control field , the field of intelligent devices and remote monitoring computer connection can be achieved data transmission , information sharing , and remote control . Marine environment observation system as an automatic monitoring system of marine areas , often require the integration of different manufacturers of different hardware devices ( or subsystem ) , it is difficult to achieve due to the lack of a unified connectivity standard plug-and-play integration of various hardware devices , unable to clients to the upper the application provides standard access mechanism , the data can not be shared and interoperability , the hardware system is like a \OPC is based on Microsoft COM - based software architecture and standardized hardware and software interface standard . OPC applications can build bridges of the application and on-site observations . To access the data of the field devices , a set of standard OLE / COM interface , applications and on-site control layer can be accessed through a unified standard interface and data exchange to resolve the past, each application software development for integrated writing dedicated hardware system interface functions . This paper reviews the characteristics of the OPC Data Access Specification and COM interface technology , marine automatic observation system was designed based on a client / server model of OPC technology new ocean observing system architecture ( the new system can be easily integrated old marine station system provides a plug-and-play hardware environment , software design more flexible ), analysis of the basic functions of the server and the client gives the realization of common methods and steps , shows the server and client use VC to achieve end software design , and system test of the client to the remote access server .
