"Double Degree" is usually issued to those students who finished a double-undergraduate course while they were working on their original major. With the rapid socio-economic development and the mutual penetration of subject knowledge, the society demand for interdisciplinary talents, however, the Double Degree system is considered as an effective way to fostering interdisciplinary talents, and it has been recognized widely.But during the long-term practice, the students always acts in some "blindness","bounded rationality", or "irrational" way, and even affect the quality and the reputation of the "double degree" education, and this mode of its own.This kind of appearance is due to the absence of national laws and policies, imperfections of colleges system, and the limits of students’individual capacity.With the support from Department of Education in Hubei Province, the "Seven School Joint Union" in Wuhan was initiated by H University and involved wit the other six universities which are under the Ministry of Education’s directly guidance. Every year, thousands of students enrolled, and now the union has developed into the joint school system that working the longest, cooperating the widest, impacting the largest,and benefiting the most. This union can represents a higher level of the "Double Degree" mode in our country.However, according to some surveys, the students could not know, comprehend, and make decision about the double degree in an rational way. They have no enough information, they are seriously affected by the external environment, and they are motived by blindness or utilitarian desire. A negative evaluation about the quality and value of the double degree has gradually formed in students. It is worthwhile to note that, students in this process were affected by the "Representation of Enlightenment","Present Enlightenment" and "Overconfidence bias", obviously. The expedition also found that, the double degree system of H University has some functional deficiencies in the area of information announce, student management, and teaching quality management. So it is failed not only in the role of effective guidance and screening on the the finite rational choice of the students, but also the supervision of educational quality.Given the weak position of the student groups in the information gathering and individual ability, we should pay more attention to play the role of institutional improvement, so effective screening and guiding the bounded rationality for student groups. Specifically, it should be strengthened by the improvement of relevant laws and regulations at statement level, the complement of the functions in the dual degree program at the college level, the refinement of the training plan and information gathering feedback mechanism for double degree at the faculty level.Thus, we can use the multi-pronged approaches to refine the bounded rational choice situation of the students, and enhance the effectiveness, quality and reputation of the interdisciplinary talents training mode.
