Abstract


In recent years, the scale of enrollment of the postgraduates in our country hasexpanded continuously, and the quantity of the enrollment has increased which meetthe need of high quality and hi-tech talents of the development of the economy andsociety. Meanwhile, with the expansion of the enrollment of the postgraduates, theemployment and the development of the career have been focused by all walks of thesociety. According to related statistics, the current situation of the employment of thepostgraduates is not optimistic, and the postgraduates commonly are facing with thepressure of the employment.all of which have objectively required us to strengthen theresearch of the career planning of postgraduates, so as to develop the career planningawareness and ability of postgraduates. This dissertation has adopted the methods ofqualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, aiming at making a research on thecurrent situation of the career planning of postgraduates and discussing the differencesof career planning of postgraduates from different backgrounds, looking for theexisting problems and causes of the career planning of postgraduates, on which basis,this dissertation puts forward some solutions and advice to develop the ability of thecareer planning of postgraduates.Initially, this dissertation introduces the background, significance and relatedtheories of the research, and summaries and analyzes the current situation of researchon the career planning in and out of China, by means of making a comparison anddiscussion on the current situation of the research between domestic and overseas, thisdissertation has put forward the existing problems of the career planning in China.What is more, this dissertation introduces the process of the designing and testingof the survey of the career planning of the postgraduates, as to the designing part, thisdissertation introduces the aim, the forming process of the questionnaire, the choice ofthe target and so on. As to the testing part, this dissertation introduces the pre-testingand testing, and determines the structure of the career planning of the postgraduates,on which basis, it has formed the formal questionnaire and examined the reliability andvalidity of the questionnaire.Meanwhile, on the basis of clearing up the formal testing data, this dissertation has adopted the methods of descriptive statistical analysis, cluster analysis and so on toanalyze the current situation of the career planning of the postgraduate, and discuss thedifferences of the career planning of the postgraduates from different backgrounds,looking for the existing problems and causes of the career planning of postgraduates.Accordingly, this dissertation has made some analysis.In the end, according to the investigation and the result of the analysis, from theangle of the postgraduates, colleges and the government, this dissertation has putforward some solutions and advice to develop the ability of the career planning of thepostgraduates, aiming at stimulating the consciousness and ability of the careerplanning of the postgraduates.
