Abstract


In terms of the country’s higher education which organized by college educationand adult education, self-examination has been widely recognized as a national adultform of standardized examination. To build a learning society, the development ofhigher education self-examination is a difficult task for the Department of EducationOffice of Gansu Province today.For the efficiency enhancement and the improvement of quality of the self-studyexaminations in higher education management, the Self-study Examination Office ofthe Education Department of Gansu Province, entrusting Northwest NormalUniversity, College of Education Technology in October2010, established a project of"Research of the Information Management Platform of Higher EducationExamination for the Self-study of Gansu Province”, in order to build a platformcorresponding with the actual situation of higher education examination for theself-study of Gansu Province. The Gansu higher education self-study examinationinformation management platform mainly includes10manage systems: programmanagement, student management, assignment management, test management, testmanagement, performance management, school management, financial management,statistics and general queries. The writer, as a member of the project team, is mainlyresponsible for the design and implementation of the student management and thegraduate management system.Under the framework of the platform of Higher Education Examination for theSelf-study of Gansu Province, according to the research on the actual situation of theself-examination in Gansu Province, combining the actual demand for themanagement of the work on study-aids and graduation of the self-study examinationoffices in Gansu Province, bases on Microsoft, NET framework, using C#language,Microsoft SQLServer2008and IIS7.0Web server, using of literature, investigation andcomparative analysis to the present conditions, and related theories, overall design,this study eventually completes the design and implementation of the studentmanagement system and graduated management system of the C/S model. Finally，integrates these two subsystems into Gansu Province Higher Education Examinationinformation management platform. This study aims to clarify the work of student and graduate about Gansu Province Higher Education Self-study Examination, and toimprove management efficiency.
