Abstract


Accompany with China’ s economy development and living conditionimprovement, equestrian is growing up in China rapidly. As a new-born sport,equestrian can become more and more important to China’s economy, society andculture development. Horse racing has not settled down. Equestrian has not beenuniversal in China. As the foundation of the horse industry and leisure industry,equestrian clubs’development has advantages and opportunities, but also faces obstaclesand challenges in the same time. The paper mainly focuses on China equestrian clubs’development and investigates equestrian clubs’ managers, employees, experts andindustry insiders.With the combined employment of document data, questionnaireinvestigation, field investigation，expert interview, mathematical statistics and so on,thepaper surveys the regional distribution, business nature, scale, ancillary services, horsessituation, business projects, equestrian-related services of China’s well-knownequestrian clubs. By the realities of the survey, we can learn more about the clubs’present situation, market potential and problems. The paper analyses the socialenvironment, regional environment, industry environment and internal environment ofChina’s more than500equestrian clubs. From policy, economic, social, naturalconditions, technology, industry and culture, we discover and solve problems, and try toput forward a diversified, sustainable development innovative way to develop ourequestrian clubs.On the basis of the environmental analysis, development status and existing problems，the survey shows that:1. Equestrian Clubs in China have entered the stage ofrapid development, but they are lack of harmony and unity with the social environment.2. Equestrian clubs in China have potential to develop, but their layout is not reasonableand lack of strategic direction.3. Equestrian Clubs in China have formed the industrialchain’s prototype, but the industrial structure is confusing.4. Equestrian clubs in Chinahave begun to operate in many ways, but the clubs’ competitiveness is not enough.This paper aims to solve the problems and puts forward some tactics:1. China’sequestrian clubs should have coordinated, unified and harmonious development insocial environment.2. China’s equestrian clubs’ layout should be reasonable.3. Theindustries’ structure related to China’s equestrian clubs should be optimization.4.China’s equestrian clubs’ market competitiveness should improve.
