Abstract


With the increasing complexity of radar systems, field testing to debug the overall performance of the radar will not only consume a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, even so, but also can not be repeated in the same conditions. This is the reason why people product radar target simulator. The function of the radar target simulator is that it can generate radar echo signal for debugging radar.For the target signal, the paper introduces the radar cross section and the target fluctuation model. According to the different movement patterns of the target, the paper will establish the target motion models and show the simulation results of them. For sea clutter signal, the paper introduces Zero Memory Nonlinearity and Spherically Invariant Random Processes to produce two correlative sea clutters and gives the sea clutter simulation results and the power spectrum. For the noise signal, the paper will establish a mathematical model and gives the noise simulation results. Finally, the simulation is the radar echo of the simulation results.
