Abstract


There are45countries use English as an official language around the world.35%of people speak English,75%of TV programs in English,75%of network information dissemination in English. English has become a multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-functional international language and the world’s communication platform. Simultaneously with the development of the Internet, people’s lifestyles have changed. In English learning needs and development of information technology, the online English teaching system came into being.Online video teaching has flexible teaching methods and content-rich features to attract a large number of users. Different from the traditional teaching methods, online learning limited by locations and time is very small. Students can choose what to study according to their own circumstances. It is an approach to learning by demand. Faced with such a huge market, a lot of education and training institutions began to develop their own online teaching platform to integrate their teaching resources and expand market share.The system uses the Django framework which base on the mvc model. The database distributed storage database MongoDB and the backstage management subsystem using j Query EasyUI to simplify the development process. Achieve a complete online English teaching system. Students can use online assessment after registering, and pay for courses to exchange with teacher and download the resources. Teachers use the system to teach and manage personal information. The system administrators use the system to manage all users, while managing curriculum, news announcements, system logs and data analysis functions.
