Abstract


With the increase of investment on vocational education from Chinese government inrecent years, the software and hardware of computers of the schools has been developedquickly. Facing to the increase of soft and hard ware equipments, how to perform theservice work and maintain the soft and hard ware system work functionally, is a bigproblem which lots of occupational schools need to confront and solve. By studying on thisproblem, an IT operation and maintenance system which is suitable to secondary vocationalschool has been designed combining with the concept of ITIL frame work. This systemcontains one team and two platforms. One team means IT operation and maintenanceservice team, and two platforms mean IT operation and maintenance service managementand monitor management platform, respectively. It is meaningful that the traditional “firefighting” IT service way would be broken by using this system in secondary vocationalschools. By introducing this system to strategy and tactics level of management layer, thecost for IT operation and maintenance will be reduced and the efficiency will be promoted.At the same time, by counting the equipments of schools, this system can provide the datawhich can be used for supporting the information construction. On the other hand, thissystem is reproducible and can be used widely. It means that this system can be arrangedconveniently based on the requirements from different units by defining the relative workflow according.The point of this paper is to design the team and platforms of IT operation andmaintenance service management system. The composition of IT operation andmaintenance service team, the functional module and flow of IT operation and maintenanceservice management and the functional module of IT operation and maintenance servicemonitor platform are discussed and investigated in this paper. The core idea of this work isbased on service providing and service supporting module of ITIL frame work.Finally, the functional test was performed in this paper. The results concluded from thefirst period test showed that the purpose of this system was achieved.
