Abstract


VMware virtualization technology is helpful to realize the integration of IT resources and applications, significantly reduce the number of servers and energy consumption of data centers, provide high availability of virtual service platform, the computing resources without interruption for the application, and convenient virtual conversion, has the advantages of low cost, easy to deploy and fast response of service. Study on the server virtualization technology and its application based on vSphere platform has important theoretical significance and application value.This paper first analyzes the virtual related theory and technology and the latest development, on this basis, IT architecture of working company as an example, introduces the status of business process, analyzes the meaning of using virtualization technology to construct the business system. Combined with practical experience in company’s server virtualization project, study the server virtualization implementation plan and the detailed steps, and the system function and performance are studied and analyzed.
