Abstract


This thesis has studed the time-determinacy safety-critical real-time networkprotocol namely Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE) and introduced the networkarchitecture of TTE, control protocol, and design of key components. Then a networkmodel and node model are built on the simulation platform to realize the simulation ofTime-Triggered Ethernet. Based on its result, an analysis is carried on to prove thetime-determinacy and functional completeness of TTE. Finally, the thesis summarizesthis study and looks forward to the development of TTE.The beginning of the article introduced the development of Ethernet and putforward Ethernet can’t possess time-determinacy. But the occurence of real-timeEthernet make up this deficiency. With the progress of real-time Ethernet, this thesisproposes solutions of TTE for inheriting the trait of Ethernet preferably and applying forsafety-critical system.Time-Triggered Ethernet as a real-time network has particular meaning,characteristics and advantages. The thesis systematically introduced all aspects of TTEnetwork including: the TTE network architecture was introduced and the function ofeach layer and the relationship between each layer was analyzed in detail, differentnetwork topologies of all scales, the control mechanisms of the TTE network areessential throughout the operational process.The switch nodes, end-system nodes and link medium are main components ofTTE network. Hardware and software of key components were studied and designed.Then, the function modules of TTE network component design have been studied indetail, that mainly include synchronous protocol control, clock and event control, clocksynchronization algorithm, data processing and transceiver units. Synchronous protocolmodule is used to complete global clock synchronization and synchronization and eventcontrol is used to complete task of communication and control according to the localclock value and dispatch table. Finally, middleware interface design is accomplished.On the basis of theory the simulation of OPENT could be completed. Three kinds of simulation node are independently build and designed process model and thefunctions. There are two scenarios in test experiment, the maturity function of TTEnetwork has achieved and the key parameter of time-lapse has collected and analyzedincluding dither and dataflow. The experimental results and the expected results areexactly matched and it proved that the TTE is real-time, correctness and functionalcompleteness network.The Real-time Ethernet is an important tendency in futurity industry of Ethernet.And the features and benefits of TTE network reveal that TTE has the most valuableprospect of real-time network.
