Abstract

Since the end of the20th century, as advances in information technology, development in information system and rapid popularization in Internet, the information level of our banks continuously has improved, and the bank information security risk is becoming more and more obvious. Especially after China’s accession to the WTO, gradually forming an open global economy, many domestic banks have set up branches abroad and also more and more foreign banks have come into China, which means that our bank information security issues will be gradually expand from national scope to worldwide. In this case, the rational analysis of the characteristics of bank information system in China, accurate grasping the banking information security risk in our country, correctly drawing lessons from foreign mature information security management model, successfully building our bank information security risk management system, effectively preventing and reducing the bank’s information security risks, ultimately guaranteeing the information security of our bank, has become an important issue to be solved in China’s banking industry, to which the Banks and regulators should pay great attention.Our banks have many types and the bank’s risk management involves wide range. This article is mainly from the perspective of macro to research. The content of the research is the information security risk in the process of our banks. These risks can be summarized as two kinds, namely management risk and technology risk. The researching priority of this paper is to construct the information security risk management system of our bank.Starting from the basic situation of our banking information security, this article has introduced the basic business and network structure of our banks, our banking features and basic requirements; Then the paper has analyzed the current of information security risks of our banks, including the management risk and technical risk, and the current of our banking information security risk management; On these basis, the paper has designed the framework of our banking information security risk management system, pointed out the connotation of the system, building requirements, principles, and built the basic framework of the system from risk management platform, technology platform and operation platform three aspects. Finally, the paper has put forward a method to build the bank information security risk management system of China, making every effort to contribute.
